Connected Accounts and Data Use

Initial draft — final legal review required before public launch

Two separate systems

Your Site2Social sign-in identifies you to Site2Social. A separate provider authorization lets you connect an existing external account, Page, organization, channel, or comparable resource. One does not replace the other.

Permissions

Site2Social requests the least provider permissions reasonably needed for selected features and should use incremental authorization where available. The dashboard displays granted scopes and connection status. Provider approval may be required before a feature is generally available.

Selection and approval

After authorization, Site2Social displays manageable resources returned by the provider. You must select the exact target. Connecting never applies a change. Every proposed field, image, or publication remains pending until you approve it, and publication timing requires separate confirmation.

Tokens

Provider tokens are intended to be exchanged server-side, encrypted with a separate key, excluded from browser storage and ordinary logs, refreshed only as needed, and deleted when a connection is removed. A provider may continue to retain information or published content under its own policies.

Disconnecting

Use the dashboard to disconnect and delete Site2Social’s stored token. Where supported, Site2Social also calls the provider’s revocation mechanism. You may separately revoke access from the provider’s settings.
